An extra special delivery arrives at Euro-Tran
DAC – A rescue dog brought in from Rumania by Dave and Chris will accompany Clyde, a very similar rescue dog from Greece…
Dac has unfortunately lost a part of his front leg and so faced an uncertain future. Now though he appears to have fallen on
his (3) feet so to speak and is set for a happy life in the Yorkshire Dales.
DAC came from Galati in Rumania where the ‘Rolda Foundation’ do a fantastic job looking after the stray dogs welfare, If we
think we have a problem here with dogs, it is nothing compared to there. DAC put up with a seven hour drive to Bucharest
airport, several hours at the airport followed by a flight to Brussels. A further lengthy spell at Brussels before a car journey to
London via the channel. In all a 2 day journey, before he arrived non the worse for wear..Clyde came from a Greek rescue
centre ‘PAWS’ (Paros Animal Welfare Society). Dog lovers should Google their sites to see the great work they do there and
the gorgeous, but sadly abandoned, dogs…
